e¯ = electron
e¯ is the symbol of the electron.
The electron, a sub-atomic particle with negative charge, is a fundamental element of electric energy.
Electric energy is a practical form of energy. It can be easily transported and efficiently transformed into other forms of energy (mechanical, thermal, ...).
Electric energy is measured in watt-hours Wh (or joules J). The rate at which electric energy is transferred is denominated electric power, measured in watt W.
Zero emissions = clean
We are committed to generate and consume clean energy.
Therefore electric power has to be generated without emitting carbon dioxide and any other pollutant. Radioactive waste is also to be avoided.
Carbon dioxide and other emissions have a negative effect on weather, environment and health. Costs related to climate change are enormous.
Nuclear fallouts and carbon emissions are human activities that threaten life on the planet.
Carbon level has increased over 50% in the last 2 centuries

Zero fuel = free
Power generation has relied heavily on fossil fuels, such as petroleum, gas, coal, or radioactive fuels, such as uranium.
Those fuels are located in specific areas of our planet. So they need to be extracted, transported and distributed with significant costs. Their uneven distribution accounts for inefficient allocation of resources and conflicting wealth concentration. Furthermore they become scarcer and scarcer, so that their replacement cost is huge.
They produce massive emissions and dangerous waste. Elimination of fuels frees enormous economic resources, improves environmental impact, reduces social and political conflicts.
Zero ties = independent
Supply of traditional fuels involves availability and security risks. Cost of energy is often uncontrollable and ever rising.
In many countries, utilities cannot ensure supply continuity and efficient cost control.
Distributed power generation and smart, efficient energy consumption decrease dependencies. Local and multi-site generation, associated with smart grids, enhances system robustness and reliability.
